Converting a Mini-Slider to a Late Model

Has anyone converted a Mini-Slider to a Late Model? Is it a big deal?

slider to late model

no it is not a big deal. all you need is,
losb 1055 bumper and frontbody posts, late model 8.99
losb 1056 foam bumper/late model 9.99
losb1316 late model body 13.99

i believe this is all you need to convert your slider to a late model

Other than the front bumper/body mounts, not really... The side nerf bars are nice, but not necessary, and the rear bumper is just dead weight - I removed mine on my Mini LM before I ever raced it...

this is the conversion i did to my slider, pretty easy. this is not the same as the newer kit called the late model though. the late model kit has an entirely different chassis. it's longer and has a left side offset battery mount location.
